I ordered a bike from raysbike.com and had a small issue with one of the parts after it was delivered. I emailed support and they got back to me the next day, which was nice, and they handled it without a ton of back and forth. It did take a little longer than I was hoping to fully sort out, but nothing too frustrating. Weirdly, I remember opening the box while eating a bag of sour cream chips, so now that’s somehow tied to the whole bike-buying memory. Overall, I’m happy with how they handled it

I went on raysbike.com thinking I’d have a decent amount of bikes to choose from, but the selection was kind of disappointing. I kept expecting to find more options, and it just felt like there wasn’t much there.
Most of the bikes I clicked on were either unavailable in my size or just not even close to what I was looking for. It got annoying fast because I’d see something that looked okay, then realize it wasn’t actually an option for me.
The site itself was easy enough to use, so that wasn’t really the problem. I just left without buying anything because the choices felt way too limited, especially for the prices they’re asking.

"Bike showed up really well put together"
I got my bike from raysbike.com it was put together really well. The brakes felt solid, the gears shifted super smoothly, and nothing seemed loose or weird at all. I pretty much just adjusted the seat and went for a ride. Really happy with how it showed up

I was able to find a couple of the bike parts I was looking for, so that was helpful. But some of the more basic stuff seemed to be out of stock, which was a bit frustrating. The site itself was easy to get around, I guess I just expected the availability to be a little better. It’s not terrible or anything, just kind of depends on what you need.

"Decent for the basics, but I wanted more options"

"Pickup took way longer than I expected"
I ordered online for in-store pickup because I figured it would be the quickest option. I got the email saying my bike was ready, so I went in thinking I’d be in and out, but when I got there nobody seemed to know where it was at first.
The staff was friendly and tried to help, but the whole thing felt disorganized. I ended up waiting about 35 minutes and had to ask a couple of times before they finally found it. The bike itself was totally fine, but I left feeling more frustrated than excited, which was a bummer after looking forward to picking it up.

After a few months, I had a problem with the battery and reached out to the warranty team. They got back to me the next day and sent out the replacement part. It took a little longer than I was hoping for, but they handled it and got things fixed, so I’m happy with the support overall.

"Prices felt fair overall"
I thought the prices on some of the bike parts were decent, not exactly a steal, but not ridiculous either. The shipping cost did make the total feel a little less great (always the part that gets me). Overall, it was fair enough, though I do wish a few items were a bit cheaper.

"Wanted to love it, but the price feels hard to justify"
I’ve usually been loyal to this brand, so I really wanted to like this more than I did. It’s not bad, but for the price, it feels like you’re mostly paying for the name rather than anything special. The basics are fine, but I expected a little more.

I ordered from raysbike.com and the packaging was better than I expected. The parts were wrapped up nicely, and from what I could tell, everything I needed was in there.

The outside box did have a small dent on one corner, which I’m guessing happened during shipping. I was a little worried when I first saw it, but once I opened it up, the stuff inside looked fine with no scratches or broken pieces.

I’d probably give it 4 stars overall. It felt secure and arrived okay, but maybe a slightly sturdier box would help next time, especially with how packages get handled.

I went in sometime last week, or maybe the week before, because the site said the item was in stock. When I got there, though, they couldn’t find it and it turned out it wasn’t actually available. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit frustrating after making the trip.

I had a solid experience ordering from Ray's Bike Shop. The checkout was simple, and everything showed up in good condition. Shipping took a bit longer than I was expecting, so I reached out and support basically said, “It’s on the way, just running a little behind,” which turned out to be right. Not a huge deal in the end. I’d probably order from them again.

"Pretty easy site to use"
I had a good experience using Ray's Bike Shop. The pages loaded fast and I was able to find the bike stuff I needed without clickign around forever. Checkout was simple too, no weird or confusing steps. Overall it’s a nice clean site and I’d defintely use it again

"Bike started feeling cheap after just a week"
I was disappointed with this bike. After only about a week, a couple of parts already started breaking or feeling loose, which made the whole thing feel really cheap. What annoyed me even more was that the communication around what to expect or how to deal with the issue wasn’t clear at all. I don’t mind minor setup stuff, but this felt like more than that...
